Our Process
We work through the layers to build a garage with real zones — one you can navigate without dreading it.
The garage is often the last frontier — where everything goes that doesn't have a home anywhere else. We'll change that. Together we'll sort through years of accumulated stuff, donate or discard what's no longer needed, and build a system of clearly defined zones so everything has a place. Whether you want to actually park in it again or just be able to find your drill, we'll make it happen.
We work through the layers to build a garage with real zones — one you can navigate without dreading it.
1
We dig through everything to see what's actually there — what stays, what goes, and what's been forgotten for years.
2
The space gets divided into clear, logical zones based on how you use the garage — tools, sports gear, seasonal items, and more.
3
The result is a garage you can actually navigate — every category in its place and room to park or work.
Especially then. The worse the garage, the more satisfying the transformation. There's no level of chaos that's too much — this is exactly what I do.
No — we work through it together. Pulling everything out is actually part of the process so we can see exactly what's there before deciding where it should live.
Yes. I can connect you with junk removal services or donation pickups for large items that can't easily be dropped off. We'll figure out a plan for everything.
With garages in particular, the more hands-on you can be, the better. Garages tend to hold a wide mix of items from throughout the entire household, and it can be difficult for me to accurately sort and make decisions without your input. Having you present during the process helps ensure everything is organized in a way that truly reflects how you use the space, and it leads to a more functional system when we’re finished. The more involved you are, the stronger and more sustainable the final result will be.
hat’s the goal. We build systems based on how you actually use the garage, not how it’s “supposed” to look on Pinterest. When a system is designed around your real habits and routines, it’s much easier to maintain. That being said, garages can also be a great space to continue working on together over time, since they often become the natural catch-all area of the home. With a little ongoing support, it can stay functional, organized, and easy to manage instead of slipping back into a dumping ground.
The time that I have spent with Kaiya organizing has been some of the best spent time this year. She has really helped me get my house back under control and have new systems to keep it organized. We have done almost all of the rooms and it looks fabulous. I highly recommend her everyone!
Incredible. Efficient, professional. Great ideas and solutions for organizing large or small spaces. Thank you!
Kaiya found charitable foundations that could benefit from things I no longer needed, ways to efficiently store things that needed to be kept.
Kaiya helped my unpack my house and organize after my floors were refinished. She did a great job! She was very professional. I was able to show her a stack of boxes, point to the area where the contents belonged and she made everything look much better than it was before it was packed. I will definitely call her back when I start the other projects I have planned.
It's amazing what a difference a properly organized room, closet or even a simple drawer can make. I didn't realize how disorganized I really was until Kaiya came along. I always told myself I would get to it... I'll organize that closet eventually... but worth every penny to have her guidance in making it actually happen.
Kaiya has been an excellent resource to support me through the process of organizing my home. I didn't know where to begin. Each time I tried, I quickly became overwhelmed and couldn't make any progress.
I can personally recommend Kaiya Brown. Efficient, great suggestions and professional with a smile.
I recommend Organized By Kaiya. I’ve used her several times and she has been a tremendous help in getting things organized after a move.
From the moment Kaiya started, I felt at ease with her. She was professional yet sensitive and began by asking my objectives, truly listened, assessed the situation, and offered suggestions that she felt I may be comfortable with.
